VetFran (GB) is a franchise
opportunities web site owned and operated on behalf of its members. This
site is for honourably discharged Veterans of the British Armed Forces
who are interested in going into business for themselves, but not by
themselves. Each of the listed franchise systems offer specific
discounts to British Veterans for their respective franchise
opportunities.

Background Information
In the early 1990s, the International
Franchise Association launched the Veterans Transition Franchise
Initiative (VetFran), which was founded by the late Don Dwyer a Franchisor in the
USA. To date over 250 US companies are participating in the
effort.
As a result of a visit to the United
States by a
British Franchisor who was a veteran, who saw the initiative over there, they felt that
British Veterans would also benefit from a similar initiative in Great Britain. As
a result the VetFran (GB) initiative was founded and
other Franchisor's invited to “Join-up” to the initiative so as to give
something back to those that have served their country honourably.
It means that participating Franchisors have agreed to help
Veterans acquire their franchise business by
providing financial incentives not otherwise available to other
franchise investors. In other words, Veterans will get the "best deal."
Eligibility & Supporting The Cause
All veterans
of the British Armed Services, including the Reserves, who were
honourably discharged, are eligible for the VetFran (GB) program. To qualify,
veterans must meet the standard franchisee requirements of the
Franchisor, in addition to being an honourably discharged veteran.
To date only a few
British franchise companies have "Joined-Up" to the effort, but many
more are expected to join as the initiative gains momentum and veterans
start asking franchisors for their "best deal".
The participating companies
in the list of members have agreed to help qualified veterans acquire
franchise businesses by providing financial incentives not otherwise
available to other franchise investors. Only by choosing one of the
listed members you will get the "best deal" as
a veteran.

Then if you are interested in any their franchise opportunity, simply
