VetFran (GB) Directory |
| To honour those men and
women who have served in the British military, the Veterans
Transition Franchise Initiative, known as VetFran (GB) was
developed to help them transition to civilian life. In late
2004 a British franchisor decided to introduce in to Great Britain a
similar initiative to that started in the USA in the early 1990s, by the
late Don Dwyer, Sr., founder of The Dwyer Group. VetFran (GB) is a voluntary effort of
Franchise
Association member-companies that is designed to encourage
franchise ownership by offering financial incentives to honourably discharged veterans. To date , more than 250
franchise companies worldwide participate in the US and UK program. Their
company profiles, as well as the financial incentives they
offer to veterans, can be viewed below on
